Sharon Holburn
President and CEO
Sharon is the President and CEO here at Touching Hearts Family Services. She has a vast array of experience with providing services to individuals from all demographics of need. Her specialty is in the area of children, youth and families. Sharon’s role is to equip the leadership and to drive the vision and mission of Touching Hearts Family Services through our various programs. She is a verified pastoral counsellor, and it shows in how amazing she treats her staff. Her hobbies include gardening and riding her Harley motorcycle. When she's not serving her staff at one of the many homes or in the office, she is travelling the world promoting her recently published book, Journey: Pathway to Freedom. She is also very actively involved in the ministry at College Street Victory Church in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Clara Polysou
Executive Program Manager
Clara is the Executive Program Manager at Touching Hearts. She brings over two decades of experience in the caregiving field, having worked in human services since 1999. With eight years of management experience, she provides seasoned leadership rooted in accountability, collaboration, and a deep commitment to high-quality care. Since joining Touching Hearts Family Services in 2022, Clara has played a key role in supporting program excellence, mentoring staff, and ensuring services remain aligned with organizational values and best practices. Known for her strong heart for helping children and individuals with diverse abilities, Clara approaches leadership through a trauma-informed, relationship-based lens. She is dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for both the individuals served and the teams who support them. Clara leads with integrity, consistency, and a clear focus on sustainability, growth, and continuous improvement.

Ione Laskey
Executive Program Coordinator
Ione has been with Touching Hearts Family Services since 2023 and brings five years of management experience along with a strong commitment to trauma-informed, relationship-based care. Her passion for working with youth began through her own lived experience as a young person in care, shaping her advocacy for children and youth within the system. She specializes in supporting at-risk youth and youth with complex behavioural needs and is deeply passionate about advocating for children in care and Indigenous rights. Known for her ability to approach all situations through a trauma-informed lens, Ione supports teams and programs with compassion, accountability, and consistency. She is currently working toward earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Indigenous Studies.

Bob Holburn
Director of Operations
Bob is our Director of Operations here at Touching Hearts Family Services. A former pastor and engineer, he brings a vast amount of experience to the team. Originally from Scotland, he made the move to North America early on in his life. His hobbies include travel and photography, and he is an avid history buff. He is very actively involved in the ministry at College Street Victory Church in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Heidi Bauman
Chief Financial Officer
Heidi is the Chief Financial Officer here at Touching Hearts Family Services. She is a mother of 2 boys, and she has a real heart for helping women and children. She has been a women's pastor, a foster parent as well as a step parent. Her hobbies include singing and playing the piano, gardening and landscaping. When she's not living her dream at Touching Hearts, you'll find her out in nature somewhere with her two boys. She is also very actively involved in the kids ministry at College Street Victory Church in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
